Last month the Department of Homeland Security, which she heads issued a report that singled out Americans in any 'single issue' group that might disagree with Government policy and charged that these groups should be watched for domestic terrorism simply because of their politics! Napolitano also refused to use the word 'terrorism' in speeches and opted to call these acts 'man made disasters' instead! She even thought 9/11 terrorists came from Canada when the truth is that none of them crossed the Canadian border! Ayers should NOT be allowed to speak at St. Marys 1. Bill Ayers was a radical terrorist who plotted violent acts against the United States. He was a founder of the Weatherman a terrorist organization splintered off of the Students for a Democratic Society, a radical group from the late 60s. Ayers planned and participated in planting bombs and engaged in other such terrorist acts against the United States, such as the bombings of NYC Police Headquarters, the U.S. Capitol and the Pentagon. 2. Bill Ayers is a liar who has falsely claimed that he only sought to inflict property damage. Bill Ayers has lied and said his goals were only to inflict property damage against the government and not injure any people. However, FBI informant Larry Grathwohl has testified that it was Ayers who insisted the bombs include stable gun staples and roofing nails to maximize the possibility of harming people. 3. Bill Ayers is unrepentant for his past behavior. Ayers has said in a New York Times interview saying, “I don’t regret setting bombs” and “I feel we didn’t do enough,” and when asked if he would “do it all again,” he said that “I don’t want to discount the possibility.” 4. America is at war with international terrorism and it is wrong to provide a forum to a domestic terrorist. 5. St. Mary’s has the right to invite him; he has the right to speak – it is just wrong.
